- Advisor, Startups
- I am an advisor to a couple of early stage startups in supply chain and MEMS sensors. I work with them on a range of issues, from pitching for funding through product strategy to lighthouse sales.
- TiE Institute
- I was a member of the “core team” that ran the TiE Institute — TiE’s practical entrepreneurial education arm. Earlier, in 2005, I helped frame the TiE Institute’s curriculum. The curriculum is focused on budding entrepreneurs and offers courses that cover the life cycle of the entrepreneurial process — from idea generation through successful growth to a good exit. If you are interested in helping or in attending classes, drop me email and I will connect you to the team.
- Design Coach, Stanford University
- Stanford has been at the forefront of work on Product Design — an observation that drew me to it as a graduate student. I have served as a design coach assigned to the capstone graduate design class. This is a global design class sponsored by corporations from around the globe; it simulates how the design process evolves from team selection, to concept prototyping to product delivery when working across cultures and time zones.
